1. Reasonable material selection.For the density complex die, we should choose good quality micro deformation abrasive steel, forging and tempering heat treatment for abrasive steel with severe carbide segregation, and solid solution double refinement heat treatment for abrasive steel with large or unforgable density.

2. The mold design should be reasonable and symmetrical in shape, and the deformation rule should be well mastered for the larger mold, and the machining allowance should be reserved. The combination structure can be used for the large and sophisticated mold.

3. This mold shall be pre-heat treated.

4. Reasonable selection of heating temperature and control temperature, slow heating, preheating and other balanced heating methods can be adopted to reduce mold heat treatment deformation.

5. If conditions permit, try to adopt vacuum heating quenching and cryogenic treatment after quenching.

In addition, the correct heat treatment process operation and reasonable tempering heat treatment process are also the limited measures to reduce the precision and complex mold deformation.
